Bursa Technical University School of Foreign Languages is looking for native / non-native English speaking instructors Bursa Technical University is a state university in Bursa, Turkey.

Our mission is to equip our students with intellectual knowledge and language skills that help them succeed in their departments and become productive and enterprising individuals in their academic, social, and professional lives. In this regard, we aim to create an environment where students can learn and practice English language skills with our experienced and expert staff members. We value and respect diversity believing that each person represents a culture and a unique variety of English that provides students with an excellent opportunity to take their first steps toward becoming world citizens.We are looking for instructors who are dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible. Instructors are expected to teach 24 hours a week plus extra-curricular and commission work such as accreditation, testing, and material design. We offer a type contract and a salary within reasonable bounds of Higher Education Council (YÖK) law. The salary is determined by the commission?s report on the candidate's qualifications and previous teaching experience. Instructors receive their payments regularly during summer and weekend holidays.

According to the criteria legislated by Council of Higher Education (YÖK), native speakers with Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching (ELT), Literature, Comparative Literature, Linguistics, and Pedagogy can be employed without any further conditions. Native speakers with a BA degree in another major are required to have either an internationally accepted teaching English certificate (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL etc.) or two years of English teaching experience in an internationally accredited language centre.As for non-native speakers of English, they must have a Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching (ELT), Literature, Comparative Literature, Linguistics, and Pedagogy. Furthermore, they are also required to have either an internationally accepted teaching English certificate (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL etc.) or two years of English teaching experience in an internationally accredited language centre.
